The stripes tell the story of our fight for equality during the Civil Rights era, is the same fight we are in today.
The art contains original Black Panther papers from the 60s and 70s, original Ebony, Life and Jet magazine clippings from the 60s and 70s. The texture includes glass, wire, mesh, yarn, paper, wood, plastic, and acrylic paint on canvas.
