Meet Jennifer

Artist. Alchemist. Community Leader.

Jennifer L. Hodges is a visionary leader and accomplished artist from Detroit, MI, who seamlessly integrates creativity, community impact, and strategic leadership. She is both a celebrated abstract artist and an influential executive committed to driving positive change across the education and nonprofit sectors. Her work is grounded in a commitment to creativity and generational advancement.

Beyond traditional art, Jennifer redefines what it means to be an art collector. She offers a diverse range of products, from original artwork to prints, journals, and bespoke wearable art, creating lifestyle options that allow art to be woven into everyday life.

Jennifer is a self-taught abstract artist with over 20 years of experience. Her artistic practice began with poetry and evolved into abstract painting. Her work, which explores personal and collective narratives, is exhibited internationally, including at the prestigious Venice Biennale (2024), and is part of numerous corporate and private collections. Her brand “Art. Life. Luxury.” is meant to expand art collecting by offering a range of luxurious products, from original artwork to prints, journals, and bespoke wearable silk art pieces, creating lifestyle options that allow art to be woven into everyday life.

Jennifer’s educational background is as impressive as her artistic accomplishments. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago's Baumhart Scholars program. Her professional journey has taken her from the wealth management sector to the non-profit sector and now to the education sector as Chief Programs Officer of a leading Chicago public charter school system, where she co-founded the Whole Child Initiative.

Creating new pieces in her Chicago Southside studio, Jennifer invites you to explore her world—one where personal narratives become powerful visual stories. Join her on this transformative journey and experience the alchemy of art.
